Now it's all about layout

The editing on volume two of The Further Memoirs... is pretty much done, aside from some relatively cosmetic stuff. So, we have now moved onto internal layout. Five out of the eight internal illustrations are done, so I now have a good idea how it'll look.

As it is the second volume in a series, both the internal and external look 'n' feel will remain much the same. The only change is that the internal illustrations will be a little larger this time.

Here, as you can see, are the initial sentences of volume two's first adventure. The entire style is the same as volume one.

ISBN numbers are all assigned. The only thing not settled, because the illustrations are not complete, is the final page count. When we have that, it'll be time to get the cover done.

Exciting times. I just have to hope you like it as much as volume one.
