I was beginning to fear that, no matter how hard I "shouted," my book was not going to appear on the radar of readers. Admittedly, the book has only been out for just over a month, but many books have reviews within days.
Of course, I'm a new author with next to no public profile so why should I expect the reviews to flood in? Needy or what?
But, in the absence of a royalty cheque, I have no other way of measuring success. That's why two reader reviews on Amazon.com were a welcome shot in the arm (link intended).
The most recent was concise but lovely.
The second went into more detail.
More please.
