Volume two is progressing

The Further Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes - Volume II is coming along well and I don't currently see why it would not get released in October 2024.

I recently completed the first draft of a story set at Christmas and I am now working on one that revolves around Spiritualism.

Needless to say, Holmes is not a believer. For those who may not have read my first volume, I shall lay out my stall once more. I attempt to write what I call "Doylean Holmes." I define this as stories that are as close in tone and spirit to the Canon as possible. I don't tackle subjects if I think Doyle would not have touched them. I don't treat Holmes and Watson in a way that Doyle would not....and so on.

I want my readers to come away thinking either that Doyle could have written my story or it was a subject he would likely have written about if he had the time or inclination.

You cannot add to the Canon but you can attempt to succeed it. Arrogant? Perhaps. Aspirational? Definitely.
